The brand book

Everything in one PDF: the story, the logo and its variants, the colours, the typography and how partner logos sit beside ours.

A solar race car with an orange blaze trail, inspired by the DCU logo, bending around the pillars of the Glasnevin campus. It works best on clean green or black. Print it in black on white paper.

Using the logo

Do

  • Set the name DCU Solar Racing to the right of the icon or below it.
  • Place it on a clean green or black background for contrast.
  • Use the black version for monochrome print on white paper.

Don’t

  • Stretch or squash it: keep the proportions.
  • Recolour it outside the brand palette.
  • Add drop shadows or glows.
  • Cover it with other elements, images or gradients.

Colours

Green, white and orange: the Irish tricolour and DCU’s own colours. Gradients are fine for backgrounds, never over the logo.

Objektiv Mk2

  • Headlines in Bold
  • Body text in Medium

Objektiv Mk2 is on Adobe Fonts. Black, Extra Bold and SemiBold are also part of the family.

Partner logos

Partners appear on the car, the team kit and our social channels, with logo size scaled by partnership tier. Partner logos keep their own colours, or a plain white or black version where the background needs it, and are never distorted or altered.
